What happens in a Biomagnetic Therapy Session?
Biomagetic Therapy is a relaxing, non-invasive experience. At the beginning of each session clients are asked a series of questions to assess their symptoms. The same questions are asked at each visit so that both client and practitioner can note changes and progress. Clients then lie on a massage table while the practitioner uses kinesiology, or muscle testing, as it is commonly known, to test for magnet placement. Once the magnets are placed, clients remain on the table for up to twenty two minutes, during which time they can either interact with the practitioner or quietly relax. At the end of a session, clients are given instructions to follow in between treatments. Clients may experience mild fatigue the day of treatment, and may experience Herxheimer reactions for a short period of time after the treatment. Those Herxheimer, or healing crisis, reactions typically subside within a few days.
